(5/22/03 - CARSON CITY, MI) — The owners of Funny Cide don't have anything to worry about -- but one Michigan couple has some swift livestock.

Pete Ondrus and Barb Lambert don't own race horses, they own race cows. The Carson City married couple used to have 500 cows on their dairy farm. Now, they're down to three speedy heifers.

Ondrus says just about everybody races horses but cows are something special. He says their racing cows will really draw a crowd. They'll be running again on Memorial Day.
