Do whatever you want to do as long as it makes you happy. I haven't exercised in two years, mainly because I'm lazy. LOL! |

I do yoga now, but not faithfully, I too need to get off my tail and into a training routine. When I was a teen I stuck to dancing (showchoir, we practiced our moves for an hour every other day), rollerskating, bike riding, and my senior year I was a rock-climbin' fool! What strength I gained there...but I lost most of it, now all I got in my Mommy-strength, LOL Good luck dearie! |

I usually lay on my bed and crunches, and another good way to build up the muscle in your lower legs is to sstand in one spot on your tip toes for as long as you can stand it, fair warning your legs will ache but it really works. I exercise a lot when I'm upset or depressed and it really elavates my moods. |

I stopped exercising when the winter came around. I used to walk about a mile a day though. And I really enjoyed it. I need to start exercising again. I hope you meet your goals before the summer! Good Luck! |

I ride my bicycle 25-30 miles per day. I swim for 45 minutes 3 times per week. I work out with weights three times per week. I do 600 crunches every morning (except when I sleep to late). I about to start running again also. Why oh Why is it so hard to be a middle aged man.... |

Just remember that when you exercise fat will be replaced with muscles. Muscles weigh more than fat. So don't think your fat/chubby/whatever just cause you don't weigh less after a period with lots of workout |

And fruit is not a good thing on a diet as it turns into carbs. Three servings of fruit per day, Amy. lol. |

I don't think you need to diet, it might speed up the process, I'm not sure.. I don't know much about this, but I think excerising and just getting fit or "In shape" will do you just fine. I've been dancing in my room to music lately (I think I'm fat) LOL.. Good Luck to you!! *Huggies* |
