Is there anything else I can do??

About a month ago, my friend was dumped. She and her boyfriend had been going out for a bout a year and a half, and he decides that "to see if he really loves her he wants to date other people". And I know that she was hurt, but if thats his attitude she's better off without him. But the next day he asks her out again, and says "if she changes he might take her back", which if you saw half the things he's done to her it would be enough to make you want to punch him, but she says ok. So for the last month he has broken up with her and than asked her out again at least two three times a week. And she goes along with it, she says it's because she loves him. Even before all this he treated her badly. I know that he's cheated on her many times, and when she confronts him he says "I'm a man I can do what I want". I've told her so many times that she needs to leave him, that she deserves better, and that she doesn't need to put up with him, but she won't listen. I'm really worried about her, and I don't know what else to do. I just don't want to see my friend getting hurt like this, so any advice would be appreciated.

Date: 5/21/2003 4:55:00 PM  ( G-Admin )   Basically you have done all you can do...as a friend you can only be there for her. Love can be blind to say the least but with him treating her so badly should tell her it really isn't love. Love isn't onesided ....Your friend needs to open her eyes to the truth and set herself free of him for good. There is someone out there better for her who will treated her with respect...
