Today in English, we were summerizing the effects of the Shakespearian Play, Romeo and Juliet. In the lecture, my teacher asked us 1.)What is love? and 2.)Can love conquer all?
We had a few moments to write down what we thought and being a shy romanticist at heart lol...look what I wrote.
Love is a sense of security, comittment and passion. Love is bitter sweet. It has its moments. It is also a sense of understanding and innocent intentions. It also has its moments of which couples indure conflicts that with time could ruin a relationship. Love isn't ALWAYS patient but with the right person at the right time patience doesn't matter. With love you will go through hurdles but the triumphs are the best natural high anyone can experience. Love is filled with firey, lustful and sensual romance; as well as bitter hardships. You have to work hard at love.
------- I myself thought THAT THAT summed it up. We were talking and I said that...you can love multiple people in your life time and I truly believed that you could be IN love with multiple poeple. There will just be a select couple or even ONE person that will change your life in some way. She then asked if Romeo and Juliet were in love...what a conterversial question that was! I disagreed as I don't believe in love at first site (to an extent). LUST at first site is what GETS you intrigued to talk to people, I said. I also remarked that having good sex with your boyfriend/husband/girlfriend/wife/fiancee is a strong foundation for a relationship. Being a shy person, the class looked at me and I had to explain more. I said, sex could also ruin a relationship...as well as be a strong base at the same time. IF you found out your "significant other" was cheating, gay/lesbian OR something else...your TRUST could be lost or just differences in time could ruin one...but on the sAME note, if you have great intimate moments with one another you could have a great relationship...of course it lasts so long. ROMOE loved the idea of neing in love.
Omgosh lol I wrote so much...all I wanted to say was my opinion and ask you for yours...so what is yours and please add to my definition.
