hiya Tiffy, well you have to research it before you dedicate yourself to it. after that you have to do a solo dedication, and ask the Goddess to be a part of your life, and to guide you on the right path for you alone. once you do that, you should try casting some simple spells, sort of like hearing a rock, listening to nature. im gonna try and find you some web sites, there is a site that you can buy a CD for 5 bucks, and it helps you a lot   |

Well, first you should gather all the info you can and make sure that you really want to be a Wiccan. It's sounds like you're pretty sure already. So my best advice would be to hit the books stores and read the books on Wicca (not the books on spells etc.). Borders is the best (IMHO), you can sit down and read them in the store, even buy yourself a snack or a drink. ^.^ I've read before that you should be a practicing witch for at least a year before you join a coven, but you don't nessicarily have to join a coven. You can aniciate(sp?) yourself, they have books on that too. Good luck! And don't hesitate to message me if you feel there is anything I can answer for you, or if you just want to talk Wicca. ^_^  |

I would suggest picking up a few books and utilizing the internet as well. Some times you won't need books....sometimes it's all about instinct Take your time and don't rush yourself...the great thing about a solitary path is that you can do it YOUR way. I will tell you now...You will always be learning. There is so much information out there...the path is neverending. Enjoy your journey where ever it may take you!  |
