Hi.., I just have a question to ask everyone. Hope to receive a Reply. I moved in to a new place about 2 months ago, I enjoy feeding, taking care of all the horses here & have my German shepherd here close.. About 3 weeks ago, the electricity went off, stayed off, for about 3 hours, I lit candles all over the house, stayed up, exhausted. When I went in my bedroom, I had my window open ( my bedroom is on the 2nd floor ), & could hear footsteps. It was 1 of my neighbor's, walking around, said he was checking things out, I said I'm o.k. are you o.k.? he said he was. Well, another week went by, & my dog woke me up barking, very aggressively. I looked out my window, & see my neighbor walking around on the lawn, So, the next evening, I'm out feeding my dog, giving the horses water, being chased out of the barn by (Houdini) at least that's what I've nicknamed him, he always manages to get out of locked stall doors, (lol)But he's beautiful..., & I'm beginning to have my theories on that subject as well. So, the neighbor comes up behind me, & scares the life out of me, nearly. Asks me what am I doing.., which should have been obvious, he asks me if I can take him to pick up some furniture he had purchased, & so, I say sure, no problem. Then my mom comes over, visiting, says she doesn't trust this guy. I tease her, saying, '' aw, ma you don't like '' Ted '' Needless to say she doesn't think it's very funny. So, I take the neighbor to get his furniture...., sit in my truck waiting for the sales people to load it, & on the way back, he asks me if I can help him unload it.., sure I say...., then he says to me '' how do you like my bed?'' I say well guess it beats sleeping on the floor, huh? & he laughs & says well, before I sleep on it, I'm gonna try it out first. By then, we're finished unloading everything, 7 I say, well good luck.......So, a couple nights ago, my dog begins barking again..., & I hear footsteps outside my window on the pavement. I turn m,y lights out, & look, there's '' Ted'' Wanna watch a movie he asks.. UGH....., No, I am getting ready for bed, so I close my window, & lay there thinking is this guy a peeping tom or what???? Geesh, or did I nickname him right?? My mom thinks he is creepy, (lol) Just wanted to know If Anyone else feels the same.. Thanks..T/C *Kentucky Bluebird*

Date: 5/20/2003 4:45:00 PM  From Authorid: 22852    This man seems to have a problem and you need to tell him to stop coming by your window at night. Let him know you are friends and ONLY friends, nothing more. If you have to then call the police and let them know what is going on. Good Luck
Date: 5/20/2003 5:00:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 48250    Thank You for Your replies, Release Me & Storm Chaser.. You know I kinda felt sorry for the guy at first because he seems to stay locked up in his apartment all day. I couldn't stand that, unless I'm gabbing on USM with everybody, (lol), but here lately, it's beginning to give me the heebie jeebies & my mom hasn't trusted him from the beginning. I've made it only too obvious that we're '' only'' friends.., I don't know what's with him..., I'm almost afraid to go outside of a night & Summer is almost here, guess I'll just keep my dog close by me.. Thanks again for Your replies. T/C Best Wishes.. *Kentucky Bluebird*
Date: 5/20/2003 5:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 57404    I dunno, if it was me, I would have called the police when I heard someone walking around. That would teach him real fast not to do that again. Plus, if you don't know this guy very well, he could be dangerous. I mean, look at some of these killers, they are loners, weird, you name it. And you always hear, "But he was such a quiet person, etc.. etc.. I would have never guessed he would be capable of doing such a thing!" Just be careful.. I got the creeps and bad vibes from reading your story. I hope he isn't dangerous in anyway. God Bless
Date: 5/20/2003 5:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 61893    Ohh my, I would stay on my toes around this guy! He does sound very strange. Just be careful, some men like this if you reject them, they can turn very dangerous! Alert the police and just let them know what is going on, so that it is on record. I would try to ignore him as much as possible. Leave a porch light on at night, never leave a window open, and get you some dead bolts to put on your doors. It is better to be safe than sorry!
Date: 5/20/2003 6:15:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 48250    Thank you Cherokee Wolf & Spoiledbabygurl: It gives me the willies, Cherokee Wolf when you said that.I've been thinking along those lines for the past few days now, & Believe me, I will call the police, if he bothers me, I don't know how to explain his behavior, it just seems odd, & I have been watching everything around here, Spoiledbabygurl, & I have heard people like that, can't take the answer, NO too well, but, he's afraid of my German shepherd, so, that's certainly a Plus & my shepherd sure don't like him, either.. Thanks so much for Your replies..T/C *Kentucky Bluebird*
Date: 5/20/2003 6:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 35114    Eh, yeah I think he sounds pretty creepy. 0_o I'd just keep an eye on him. So far it sounds like he hasn't done anything to crazy. But he sounds like he's not all there. I'd be careful. Good luck!

Date: 5/20/2003 8:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 62141    Next time the dog start that serious barking like someone is really out there...It would be a good time to call the police and report a prowler. It is apparent that this guy has at least some type of "this is a game" mentality...He likes to observe you and likes to use the element of surprise to his advantage.
Date: 5/23/2003 9:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 18506    CREEPY! Yes indeed! That whole thing about the bed was just like...that was IT! I'd be like, 'well just leave me alone you freak!' of course he could just be harmless...but I hate those dumb lines...the lines they think are so smooth and they sound so ignorant...like , 'if ya wanna get close to me in any shape or form, try being normal!!' ya, sweetie, i hope this doesnt become a serious problem. Obviously you just think of him as a 'friend' and nothing more. So what I would do is keep that dog of yours VERY CLOSE to you at all times...good luck! love, lisa
Date: 5/27/2003 9:49:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 48250    Thank you Gray & Skyafawn. Yes he does have some kind of a problem.& I have been keeping my German shepherd around close. When I was leaving for the Memorial Day Weekend.., he was outside sitting on his car, watching me.., I felt like asking him what his problem is..., but, I think he has gotten the message, (lol) Thanks everyone again, for Your replies.. T/C Best Wishes.. *Kentucky Bluebird*
