I need help concerning computer disks------kurtvedder

Gday guys. I need some help with my disks. It seems that my computer doesn't want to let me save anything on them. It keeps on saying "Cannot save to specified device". I am using Windows 95 and Microsoft Word 97. This is on top of files stuffing up on other disks and myself having to retype a 3000 word essay and a 2500 essay because I lost the stupid essays in the process. Any help would be seriously appreciated!
