hmmm I don't know....I don't know if this would be considered along these lines but I have a bone growth on my left foot.....looks like I have two ankles...so I'd have that removed in a heartbeat...I had a year where it hurt so bad *tendons would catch on it* I almost had it removed.....if I ever go through that pain again the sucker is coming off LOL....other than that I'm pretty satisfied with my body and wouldn't change anything.. |

I don't think that I would want to have plastic surgery. I don't want to change how I look, other than losing a few pounds. LOL |

When I was about 10 years old, I had surgery on my nose. It was something to do with the sinuses. I only had a slight problem but the main reason I wanted it done, was because I thought the doctor would change the shape of my nose by operating on it. I remember lying to my parents and telling them I was having a really hard time breathing just so I could get them to go through with it. Thats pretty sad to think I was so unhappy with my looks at such a young age. Of course it didn't change my nose at all, but it sure hurt like heck! |

Yep, in a flash ! LOL....I don't think I would change my looks any,not that I think I look great already, but at my age and with my luck if I changed to much it would give me a heart attack. But I sure would like to get those crow feet off of my eyes and all those laugh lines too.... |

I would like to have a smaller chest so if the opportunity presented itself, I would jump right on it. |

I'm surprised so many of you would. I expected an overwhelming majority to say no. |

In the end, no matter how much I complain about myself, and how I could wish the way I look at times, I don't think I would go through with it. |

No, I know I wouldn't. I am who I am, and I will never change. I could probably see doing it, if it was because of being burned, or some other kind of disfiguring accident. Now, my best friend would LOVE to do it. She wants breast implants, a nose job, and her stomach done "because of fat." I just don't think it would be worth all the pain. |

I would say no..how can you be so sure that the doctor will not screw up and then have you wishing you were the old you again? |

No, I wouldn't change a thing! There is nothing wrong with me that a little diet and excersise wont cure! And besides, who's idea of beauty would one be trying to live up to anyways? Unless there was a medical reason, I say no...We should love ourselves because we are only as perfect as you and I can be |

I would..i've always wanted to get my nose done..it's too protruding. And when i was a kid, i was balancing on this log, and lost my balance and smacked face first into it..and it tore some skin in my nose..so now you can sorta see the skin covered-bone(you'd have to be looking up my nose to even notice)..some don't realize this and say..hey..you have a something in your nose..grrr and if that isn't cruel enough i have a darn madonna like gap between my teeth..ugh! |

Aqua Rose. you do have a good point. Yes a person should be happy with themselves for who they are. But even though I know I shouldn't be so self conscious, I am anyway. I am thankful though. I am very blessed. But I just feel like something like this would make me feel better about myself. Just once I'd like to look in the mirror and actually like what I see. I know its wrong. But I just feel this way. |
