My grandma used to tell me and my cousins a story about a lake in Georgia that had no bottom. I can't remember the area or the name she told us.I really don't know if its true or if she was just telling us that because she had heard it from her mom. (who was from Georgia)I was just interested to know if any of you heard or knew of this lake?

Date: 5/18/2003 12:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 47699    Well, it has to end somewhere. I doubt that it's the other end of a lake in China. It's an interesting thought, though.

Date: 5/18/2003 12:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 36967    I think it is pretty deep, it has to end somewhere. I think when it was named, it which the instruments at that time, the bottom was too deep to be detected. That could be like a couple hundred feet.
