My mom always fools me instead! One year for my birthday she said to me in her "I'm mad at you and you better do it NOW" voice she demanded that I go and clean my room. I didn't want to and we had a small arguement, but then I went to the room and she had my present there! I can't pull anything on my mom b/c she always gets to me first!  |

Same thing with me Becky! It's always a guessing game, and we'll never know if she secretly hates it b/c she will wear anything we give her or do for her. She's just really appreciative. But I would like to get her something just plum bad one year just to see how she'd react differently. |

I did play with one of her gifts once though. But she didn't get mad. She loves Jeopardy and I got her the game on Gameboy, maybe I should wrap up some socks just as a small trick b/c she is after all getting the other stuff |

Unfortunately due to all my savings being used on my wedding, I didnt have enough extra to buy her anything, but I did make her something, but I cant say here.. Because unlike a lot of USMers, my mom is a member here too.. lmao  *hugs* I think your mom and Grandmomma, will love both of those gifts   |

as winter starts here in Australia next month I got my mother a lovely new, warm, blue dressing gown....its very hard to think what I can get mum now that she is 80, I used to pay to get her hair permed, but she got it done earlier herself...hugs  |

My mom doesn't let us buy her anything. So I went outside found some sticks and duck taped them into a heart-shape. Then I scotch taped pink paper on the duck tape so it wouldn't look as ugly. Then I tied a string to the top of the heart and I taped a pink paper heart to the end of the string, so it would hang in the middle of the stick heart. Next I put a funny picture of her on one side of the heart and I wrote "I Love You!!" and "Happy, Happy, Happy Mother's Day!" on the other side. ~Zenn  |

Well.. Last night I was up till midnight cleaning the kitchen spotless and organizing and cleaning and I waxed the wood in the living room. I was working for 3 hours on it, and my momma LOVED it. Then this morning I gave her the card with 3 10$ off coupons for Bath & Body.. Then I made her breakfast, she loved it! :P Then I gave her my present that was this basket from Bath & Body with body spray, lotion and shower gel. It smells like summer and spring, but the flavor is Sweet Pea. She can't decide whether she likes the basket which can be used as a purse or the lotion, shower gel, and body spray! LOL I think I gave her a good Mothers Day morning!! Then, I'm going to paint her nails when she gets out of the shower! Cool huh?? Cool post! *hugs* Love Always,  |
