This is a poem that I wrote about my first love...and my only love till this day!
RYAN
It was a bright a sunny day-
I was young and ready to play.
I called upon a friend of mine
to see if she was ready to shine.
She told me she had company-
and there were boys as sweet as honey.
So I ran as fast as I could-
and in front of her door was where he stood.
His hair was dirty blonde-
and he said hello with a slight nod.
It was love at first sight-
and I cared for him with all of my might.
For seven years we were friends-
but you all know how that ends.
It was a clear and calm night-
and I was shivering with fright.
But he told me that it would be okay-
and right there and then I prayed-
that if this boy was meant for me-
that a sign be shone-this was my plee.
And then he kissed me-
so soft and sweetly.
And then he moved away-
but we still continued our love night and day.
But eventually we fell apart-
and now I have a broken heart.
