My step father, who I call Dad now because he has always been there for me, has parents who both smoke, and have for a long time. Despite any problems and fights that have happened, they've treated me fairly well (leaving out one time when I was really young and they first met me.)
Grandpa was out here last year when I had my last hospitilization. He took care of me while my parents were both back in California trying to settle a law suit and my dog Lasko ended up dying on us. And grandma was really supportive and helpful in that horrible time.
Well, my grandma had surgery yesterday, to take out a part of her lungs. It's an experimental surgery, so she has a room all to herself, the best care, and my grandpa even gets a hotel room across from the hospital free of charge because they want it to succeed, but everyone is so worried.
So, I was hoping a bit of USM magic could help keep her alive. USM has helped a lot of people. Maybe USM's payers could help now.
