I want the AA's back

I want to appeal to the judgement passed on the AA's. I know I didn't like them at first, but now I miss them. For those who don't know, and AA is someone who does not have an account here. They used to be allowed to reply, but not anymore for reasons such as nasty comments and such. This place is getting boring. Can we have the AA's back please?

For all of you who weren't here many moons ago. There was such a thing as an anonymous author, these were people who had no authorid, they could not chat, could not write stories, but they could reply. People started to complain about them because they'd leave nasty comments and there was no authorid to trace it back to. But not all of them were bad, and they made life interesting. By popular vote, I hope to get those quadiddlefloops back. The benefits are that they would be able to try the site out before signing up...

Date: 5/8/2003 7:03:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 2335    Vadio----what was that supposed to mean?
Date: 5/8/2003 7:10:00 AM  From Authorid: 15394    I see the idea that more people might try it out and then sign up, but I did not like the AA because they were often rude and vulgar.
Date: 5/8/2003 7:10:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 2335    Vadia, I don't like censorship in literature, but you have made me have my anger trip for the day, please refrain from posting for an hour...thanks.
Date: 5/8/2003 7:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 55689    I remember those.. i used to use those AAs.. but i guess there were dis-advantages.. but i remember I was so disappointed when they were taken away and the sign up wasnt working yet..

Date: 5/8/2003 7:32:00 AM  From Authorid: 13283    THey used to spam posts ! I remember this one time some s, The Watcher 1 and The Watcher 2, ect spammed alot ! We dont need them here . Say NO to anonymous authors !!! Razzy aka
Date: 5/8/2003 7:45:00 AM  From Authorid: 25390    They did make it....uh....interesting, didn't they? But I'm really glad they're gone.
Date: 5/8/2003 7:54:00 AM  From Authorid: 54247    Thanks - was not aware of AA (thought that meant Alcoholics Anonymous). I actually agree with you wanting them back. I sometimes check on the ID of some contributors - mainly to be determine adult or minor. I try not to be careful with children - they are learning. People or all ages can be insecure about letting you know who they are. It is good to read the bad and odd input - we need to know it is out there. RAT
Date: 5/8/2003 7:59:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 2335    Alright, I'm watcher 1, and I was not and AA. I NEVER spammed posts, that was what I left up to Watcher~2...believe what you want. But those days are over. They were some of the best days of my life, but they are over now, so don't hold a grudge over it.
Date: 5/8/2003 9:20:00 AM  From Authorid: 24732    I used to be an AA back in the day, I really liked it. I never had to log on, and I always lefy my name anyways like this--> (<>..<>Alien I never was a fan of any message boards which made you get an acount, but eventually I did get an acount here. And there were always plenty of new people back then.
Date: 5/8/2003 9:55:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 2335    You hear that??!!! We want our AA's!!
Date: 5/8/2003 9:56:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 2335    Alien? I remember you!
Date: 5/8/2003 10:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 13119    I agree that they should come back, it gave a fresh prospective and I honestly think that alot more people would be open to joining if they could try for awhile first. I also believe that although there were some rude, ignorant AAs there were alot of intelligent well rounded AAs as well.
Date: 5/8/2003 11:19:00 AM  From Authorid: 53427    I like this idea. If they leave rude comments, they can always be deleted. We need more people to join and this would encourage it.
Date: 5/8/2003 12:25:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    i think it's right they are gone!! with what i know they were more trouble then not
Date: 5/8/2003 12:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 25756    I remember being an AA That was the reason I wanted to sign up so badly to USM in the first place, but I'm sure there would be plenty of people leaving some nasty comments which isn't good. Maybe there is a way of blocking the "bad" AA's by their IP address thing-a-ma-bobber...you know? Or there could be a temporary 5-day free account or something -not chatting, no writing stories, just commenting- and if they decided to stay and they weren't "bad" and didn't write bad comments then their comment count from that 5-day thing could be added on to the 200 comments you need to get a taggie.
Date: 5/8/2003 1:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 30051    Yeah well you have to pay to have an account now. So that would be a problem.
Date: 5/8/2003 5:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 32193    i use to be a AA lol i always put *princess* on the end LOL...
Date: 5/9/2003 6:19:00 AM  From Authorid: 59418    hmm..i think i like usm as it is...sorry *hugs*
