I think that it would be cruel and unusual to name your child superman. What were those parents thinking? |

when i was pregnent, the pediatrician and i were talking names at a visit one time. she told me the most unusual names she ever heard were in a family with the last name Jello...they had twins and named them Red and Green. lol. if people can name their children after colors, why not Superman? lol |

I once knew a person who named their daughter Heavenly Hash and Jeep and Clutch...A guy I went to school with was named Algae and a girl I knew was named Nerdy of course she was french and I think it meant something else there. We called her Francois(not sure how it was spelled) and my sister named her daughter Rhiannon Luka(she is an 80'smusic freak) LOL |

Parents should let love for the child lead them. Would they like to have to carry that name around the rest of their life? Naturally if the answer is No Way, then they should consider another name. |

i totally agree with you all. parents need to keep their kids in mind when nameing them. i would hate to go through life named Superman! i do think it should be up to the parents what they want to name them, but they should think of how it will affect the childs life. |

I hope they call it Clark Kent, then that way when the kid goes to school kids probably wont notice. But if it was superman the kid would probably be bullied. his friends might call him superman as a nickname tho, lol. |

lol cage.. red and green jello? I think the parents should take in consideration how the child will feel with a name like that.. but they should b allowed to name their own child whatever they want. |

Why does the child need four names anyway? Isn't one first, middle and last enough? |

Why do parents torture their kids with silly names? Can you imagine when this poor child walks across the stage at Graduation and they call out his whole name? I'm not comfortable with the court systems dictating what you can name your kids - I would hope their relatives would talk them out of it! |
