Nope, you're not alone. That is part of the reason I don't watch tv very often anymore. |

For some reason I just can't get into reality shows. I find it amazing that anyone can go on a tv show to find their spouse as well. I guess I'm out of the loop a little because I'd rather watch crime drama shows like all the Law and Orders, Crossing Jordan, and the crime detective programs on Discovery. |

Like so many things on TV if there is one successful show, next season there will be a bunch more like it. The problem is that the novilty of reality TV has worn off but there will be a glut of reality TV until someone markets a different kind of successful show then that one will be copied. So much of TV is utterly unwatchable. |

I've never had any interest in the reality shows. I watched a little of American Idol and lost interest after about the fifth show. I have to live my own sorry life, why do I want to watch someone elses??? |

i say reality tv is never reality because they never have real people, they either are stunningly "attractive" or have many issues |

Well I have to sort of diagree. I mean the main purpose of TV is to make you forget about your own boring life for awhile so why not watch someone who's life is even more pathetic than yours? At least then you can feel good about things in your own life for once. Personally what I'm sick of are Soap operas. Everyone is rich, no one works, no one dies (for very long anyway), everyone is beautiful and has a perfect body, and everyone is sleeping around with everyone else. I say if we're gonna take anything off the air it should be this crap. About the Reality shows I'm neutral. Some of it I watch...some of it is even too sad for me. And how about this new Miss Dog Beauty Pagent? Now that's a waiste of air time. JMO ~Gabrielle~ |

I hate "Reality-T.V.". I find all of those shows completely stupid and pointless. When "The Bachleor" is the ugliest most disguesting male on earth, or the people on "RealWorld" are serial killers it will completelt uninterest me. -AcidStorm |

I like them. Its like throwing rats in a maze and from a psychological perspective, its fancinating to see how they respond to other people, how they get out of trouble and how they win the game. Survivor in particular, its amazing to see all the strategies and how far people will go to win that $million. |

I can enjoy a fre reality shows. I love The Real World and I someitmes like to watch Fear Factor. I think there are just too many out there. Joe Millionaire, Married By America, All American Girl, and The Bachelor, I think are just all too overboard. From what I hear, none of the couples there have stayed together. So whats the point of watching them anyway? |
