I took a year and a half of spanish in high school....I would have continued if I hadn't ended up with a rotten teacher my last semester i took it.... ...besides I think spanish is far more useful than french in america...BUT since you need 16 hours....why not take both? |

If I were you, I'd go for Spanish. It's a very annoying language to learn though. I know a few and if I could choose another, I'd finally learn Norsk (Norwegian)... |

I'm taking spanish right now. I hated it in high school, but it's actually not that bad. I only have two semesters left after this one. As long as you study a little at home, you shouldn't have a problem with it. Good luck. moonshine3 |

American Sign Language (ASL) I was an interpreter for ten years after graduating from a two year program. If I was to learn another, it would be Spanish. Make yourself marketable. Being Bi-Lingual will do that. |

Take Spanish. If you want to learn other Latin-based languages, its smart to take Spanish first. Although I find French prettier, and less annoying to speak, Spanish is easier... Russian would be great to learn. Chinese...German...Gaelic.. Aww, I want to learn as many languages as I possibly can. I'm a softie for words.. |

I think I have 4 hours of dual credit for college that transfered from my high school AP German class. I know German since both my parents and grandparents speak it. I always liked it, except when you speak German sometimes a lot of spit flies out of your mouth. Deutsch ist Super spaz! |
