Don't Buy Another Donut....MAKE YOUR OWN :).....~SpaceCase

Are you tired of buying donuts, but you are a donut freak? Are you a cop? No, just checking :p

Here's a recipe that is so easy my 6 year old can help make them. My Daddy used to make these for us as kids. __________________________________________________________________

1 can of 10 buttermilk biscuits (2 or more for bigger families)

1 coke bottle top

1 skillet, w/ 1 inch of oil (hot, anything but olive)

granulated sugar, or powdered sugar and cinnamon,

jelly, etc.. a piper (for jelly and pudding filled donuts)

newspaper

I think you see where I'm going with this ;) _________________________________________________________________________

Use the bottle cap to put holes in the center of bisquits that you would like unfilled.

Place the biscuits, 5 at a time, holes and all, into the heated skillet of oil and let fry until golden brown...this is a very fast process...FLIP THEM...and in a minute or less they will be ready to take out.

The same proceedure is used for the filled donuts, only don't cut the hole.

Have your newspaper layed out to absorb excess oil, throw those hot donut-wanna-bes' on the paper &quickly sprinkle both sides with chosen sugar/spice.

Fill your piper full of said jelly or pudding (I use my own homemade strawberry jelly) and inject into one side of the donut.

Who needs Duncans nasty Donuts when you can have delicious homemade ones in minutes, without having to spend over $1 per can. That's money in your pockets, folks!

I DARE YOU TO GO MAKE SOME RIGHT NOW!! >SpaceCase<
