Woman: Mike's Bistro

Peter: is mike there?

Woman: Just one second Peter, I'll get him for you

Peter: Thank you

Peter waits a moment pondering how to say what he is about to

Mike: Peter, why you calling you gonna be here in like an hour

Peter: That's why I'm calling acctually, I'm not gonna play tonight

Mike: But Peter, there are already people here waiting

Peter: Mike the crowds aren't what they use to be, they didn't pay a cover. Just, I don't know, buy them a round on me and tell them I'll be back soon

Mike: I don't like the way you just said soon, you said it like when you left before. Is everything okay?

Peter: Mike I just got to work a few things out and don't feel up to playing tonight, that's it.

Mike: What should I tell Denise... you know she'll be here

Peter: She gose for the free drink Mike, not me

Mike: we both know that's not true

Peter: tell her what ever, It dosen't amtter to me anymore

Mike: I think we both know that not true either

Peter: Mike I'm callling to say I won't be there tonight, not to get this from you, I'll talk to you soon, there did that one sound Okay to you?

Mike: Peter it's... just I worry, I know you're not happy, and if time is what it will take, then time you got.

Peter: Thank you for understanding Mike, you are a true friend.

Mike: Mind if I stop by later? Have a drink or 12?

Peter: I'd like that, mike, it's been awhile since we jsut hung out.

Mike: tell me about it. Well I got to go buy some drinks for people on your behalf. Later

Peter: Later, big man
