DRINK-DRIVE suspect Clifford Randle gave police a sample of TOILET water instead of urine.
Randle, 41, claimed he could not do a breath test because he had a punctured lung and was unable to give blood as he was paranoid about needles.
But officers were suspicious when he emerged from their toilet and gave them a test tube of liquid.
Sergeant David Noonan told a court: "It was absolutely crystal clear."
Randle, of Hertford, Herts, was found guilty of failing to give urine and was bailed for sentence.
