A WWE Superstar is Retiring

The career of one of the greatest who ever stepped foot inside the squared circle has come to a close. Stone Cold Steve Austin announced yesterday during an interview with WWE.COM that his in-ring career is over, and will now concentrate on his new on-camera role, as if right now, being co-general manager of RAW. Neck problems which could leave Austin a quadriplegic (if hit or landed wrong) forced him to take this decision. Although he said his match with Rock may have not been the last one, he said that it will take a very special occasion to lace up the boots once again as the injury is very serious. Austin also talks about his walk-out last year, his match with The Rock and other things.

Date: 4/29/2003 9:55:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 49739    Didn't Regal catch a disease when the WWE susperstars go to India? I've heard that his condition has gotten worse, by a blood clot in his leg.
Date: 4/29/2003 9:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 50193    He has a problem where his blood is thining. He's currently taking about twenty pills a day to get his blood to where it should be thickness-wise. He wants to have an on-screen role that would require no wrestling at all.
