I didn't even know this CD existed! LOL, my dad bought it for me during his lunch break, he knows how much I like the show. Here is what I thought:
Track 1: What the World needs now. This is a group song. Clay starts it off. I am not too crazy about the group songs but this was really good!
Track 2: Superstar, performed by Ruben Studdard. Not much to say about this except he did good as usual!
Track 3: On the Wings of Love performed by Clay Aiken. Also not much to say except Clay was his usual great self!
Track 4. At Last, performed by Julia Demato. In my opinion Julia sounded better on this then she ever did on the show. It was quite good to listen too!
Tack 5: Three times a Lady, performed by Josh Gracin. He did not really use his country twang, and he did great! I thought it sounded wonderful. It actually didn't really sound like him either though. Listening to these songs you sometimes think, "Whoa is that really them?" I thought Josh did very well!
Track 6: Lets Stay Together, performed by Trenyce. She sounded the same as she had on the show. I thought she did well with this, I didn't think it was great but she did pull this song off.
Track 7: Back at One, performed by Ricky Smith. Oh how i almost forgot what this wonderful man sounded like!! He always reminded me of Brian McKnight, and he did awesome with this song! This was just great.
Track 8: Killing Me Softly With His Song, performed by Kim Caldwell. This didn't sound like her to me either! Her voice didn't sound as deep as it did on the show to me. She actually did quite well with this song!
Track 9: Open Arms, performed by Corey Clark. This was very so so. I always thought Corey sounded a bit like a girl and he kind of showed it on this...lol. this was ok but not great
Track 10: How do I live without you, performed by Carmen Rasmusen. She did sound better on this then she did on the show, but I wasn't really impressed. I also thought this was so so, not bad though!
Track 11: Over The Rainbow, Kim Locke. She did very well! she didn't sound different from on the show, she sounded very good!
Track 12: Overjoyed, Charles Grigsby. Hey I forgot what his voice sounded like too!! lol. I loved this track, he did great. Sounded awesome!
Bonus Track: God Bless the USA, group song. I get chills when I hear this song! Josh did great on his solo, so did Trenyce. Very good!!

) Kim's version of Over the Rainbow is VERY similar to the one I sing to the boys...I think it's from the movie Corrina, Corrina...I loved their "God Bless the USA" and REALLY MISS RICKEY!!! HE should've been there instead of Josh, he was in my top 5...it was between he and Trenyce for my top 4! Since I wanted a female in the top three, I originally chose Kimberly Locke, and though I haven't always been thrilled with her in the past, she has really made a shining star out of herself!! Great post, and again, thank you for doing this review!!
