My computer has been going extremely slow! My dad gave us his old tower, which isn't that old..he just wanted a new one, and it had a cd burner in it already. So my boyfriend switched our tower with my dad's tower.
He changed everything from our computer to the other computer, except the processor, I think... cause it's a different size. We were using a 40 gig hard drive on my other computer and my dad was using a 4.5 ram. I can't believe how slow 4.5 is!
My bf did something to the computer to make it go a tad bit faster. I'm not sure how fast it's running now, but it's still slower than it used to be. I'm sure that he put the 40 gig hard drive in there but it's still slow!
Now, this is the thing that's been really annoying me...other than it being EXTREMELY slow, sometimes when I go to a site, it will say it's down. And it's not because the site is down or that my net isn't working. Because when I refresh it, it starts to work. It's been happening to a lot of different sites so I know it's not because of the sites being down.
Also, I've been trying to make Dollz and a lot of the icons aren't showing up. I did right click on the image to show the picture but it still won't work. I asked my friend if she had the same problem and she said she didn't have any problems. So it's something with my computer.
What could be making my computer do this? This is very annoying. Do I need a certain program? I didn't have a certain program before either and it worked just fine. Is there a way to set the computer options to make it work? I did go to the Tools in the Internet Options...and made sure that the stuff in the Multimeda is checked off but it still does the same thing..
