Growing Pains...........~SpaceCase

I remember the young genius
My first love, so early on
Looking into his reflective eyes
That sparkled of emerald oceans

I would drown in the depths
Of his thoughtful glances
Dream of sweet romances
But twas deemed puppy love

I remember our bodies trembling
At the slightest sliding fingers
Oh how my memories linger
For a moment of sweet lament

Such virginal surrender
Shifting tides full of emotion
Our love lives on like the ocean
Such things one shan't forget

I remember that first night
When my heart first came to life
Such strong hands caressed my back
Under Georgia's laser lights

At the time he did not know it
For I was afraid to show it
His seniority overwhelmed
My little minnow ways

But with deep intent I flirted
All my best moves were exerted
When I won him, I let him believe
It was he who found me

Lunches at his house were perfect
Thank gawd his mom was workin'
He taught me how to wrestle
And we nestled and watched TV

We would talk and talk for hours
What we would do if we were bad
But we were God-fearin' youngins
In search of a higher plan

I remember so many sunrises
Sittin' on my front porch
We just couldn't let go
Our conversations continually ran

The last time he came calling
I was taken, he waited too long
But finally saying goodbye
Helped us both grow strong

I was married with children..She was pregnant with her first...She still wore the same perfume...Oh Lordy! Ducky..You are too good at this. Excellant words, my friend. Write on
