It could be. A woman at my job said she went though it at 30. So I guess it's possible. |

I doubt it! Maybe an imbalnace in your hormones! Many factors to consider! How long have you been on the pill if at all? Did you stop taking the pill? There is a soy product that balances everything out! I would go to a health store & tell them your symptoms & see what they can suggest! But soy & Dong Quai are great for women's health problems! Good luck & keep us informed please! |

Thanks Someday. MG, I have never been on the pill, that's why I was kind of wondering about the change thing. I guess the hormone imbalance makes more sense. Thanks for your concern. |

i'm not any expert but I do think you are way too young to experience this at 28. Could you possibly be pregnant? Stress and anemia could also cause these symptoms. Deffinetly check any possibility with your doctor. Good luck to you. Amanda1 |

Sounds like hormones to me. I did this for a long time before I got on the pill, I thought I was going crazy. After, I got put on the pill things seemed to improve a great deal. I use to have 7-8 day periods and hurt ALOT, then after I was on the pill my periods were only 3 days, very light and hardly any hurting. However, talk to your doctor I am sure there are things that can be done besides putting you on the pill. Good luck! |

No you are not too young. It can happen at any age. So go to the Doc and get yourself checked out. |

Sounds like you got some good advice and I agree. Perhaps your ovaries aren't putting out enough hormones and a doctor should really be consulted, Sweetie. Take care. |

Thank you all for your concern. Hmm... One thing I can rule out would be pregnancy, my hubby had a visectomy(?) 16 years ago. I guess I had better just go to the doctor. Thanks again. |
