Well on the flat headstones or the ones below the ground you can mow over them. Thats what they were designed for. Makes the graveyard look better and is easier to keep. Grave stones or tombstones however I cannot even begin to see vandalising them at all. Only a sadistic moron would do something like that. Drinking in the yard.... hmm I wish a ghost would get them... And just driving a vehicle over the graves... no. Unless it was a riding mower. No I cannot see that at all.  |

Penny, I wouldn't even know what to say to the police if I could. I'm sure that the care taker of the cemetary saw the same thing, hopefully they would be able to do something about it. It was just wrong of what they did. |

that's horrid... last year there was some really bad grave tippers they came along and knocked over about 90 headstones(what are all easily 60+ years old some over 100 years old) and old marble isn't easy to patch heck it's darn near impossible.. it took them months to restore it  |

As long as there are people in this world, I am afraid we will always have those whose mentality is so low that they want only to destroy whatever they can and never to build anything up. These people are operating on a low level of spirituality and are paving the way towards the very lowest realms when they pass on. They believe that they are "getting away with something"... but I assure they are not !  |

My family are buried in an old historic cemetery and the college students walk thru to get to classes. They have been caught stealing everything from a to z to decorate their dorm rooms. It is sad that the family of these deceased persons are not respected. The caretaker of the cemetery told me that the flags that direct people to the gravesight during the funeral get stolen and sometimes the students will mis-direct the location on purpose. I have a sense of humor and love a good joke but this is ridiculous!  |

Busy Bee...When I was in Idaho, years ago, visiting my grandpa's and uncle's grave, I remember seeing a whole bunch of flagss there and some where stolen. |

Some of our grave yards have been trashed and many stones vere tossed around and trashed. I was furious when I found my brothers military stone had been chipped. I was so angry I cried. My friends Dad's flowers and ornament were stolen from his grave, not just once either. Like Posey said, sick people are in this world. |

Wow I can't imagine how people could do that! Our cemetaries around where I live aren't like that. We have a really nice big one and we have a smaller one but people don't go and ... I guess you could say "vandalize" ... the cemetaries!  |
