DETOUR CHERRY CREEK SNEAK SUNDAY, APRIL 27, 2003 (7:15AM) STREET CLOSURES COULD BEGIN ANYTIME AFTER 5:00AM This event will commence on Cherry Creek Drive North at 1ST Avenue, continue to Colorado Boulevard to, right on Colorado to, right on Cherry Creek Drive South to, left on University, turnaround and back track on University @ Cedar to, left on 1st Avenue to Downing, turnaround and back track on 1st Avenue to, left on York to, right on 5th Avenue to, right on Josephine to, left on 3rd Avenue to, right on Columbine to, right on 2nd Avenue to, left on Josephine to, left on 1st Avenue to the finish line at Milwaukee.
The following detours are to be used upon direction of a Street Supervisor, Dispatcher or the Denver Police. These detours are subject to change - watch for data messages on day of run.
Route 1:
Eastbound - Regular route to, left on Downing, layover in first bus stop on Downing heading north. Westbound - Downing to, left on 3rd Avenue to, left on Corona to, right on Speer to regular routing.
Route 2:
Eastbound - Continue on 6th Avenue to, left on Colorado to, left on 8th Avenue and layover at bus stop on 8th Avenue. Westbound - 8th Avenue to regular routing.
Route 3:
Eastbound - Continue on Exposition to, left on Colorado to, right on Alameda and regular routing. Westbound - Regular route to, left on Colorado to, right on Exposition and regular routing.
Route 24:
Northbound - University to, right on Exposition to, left on Colorado to, left on 8th Avenue to, right on Josephine and regular routing. Southbound - York to, left on 6th Avenue to, right on Colorado to, right on Exposition to, left on University and regular routing.
Route 40:
Southbound - Some delays may be experiences - southbound right lane of Colorado will be closed from Virginia to Cherry Creek Drive South. Northbound - Regular routing.
Route 83L:
Eastbound - Speer to, left on Downing to, right on 6th Avenue to, right on Colorado to, left on Alameda and regular routing. Westbound - Alameda to, right on Colorado to, left on 8th Avenue to, left on Corona to, right on Speer and regular routing.
