Date: 4/24/2003 6:44:00 PM From Authorid: 53836 did I miss the interview? I hope fans will forgive them...she was young and let go of a few too many words...how many of us have done that? I know I still am! |
Date: 4/24/2003 7:49:00 PM From Authorid: 30401 i'm watching it right now. i think it's kind of stupid that just a few words had this much of an effect. Other people (although not me) share the same opinion as the Dixie Chicks and they aren't being bashed like this. They have the right to their opinions, maybe they should of stated it better. But Natalie said what she was feeling, and i think that is acceptable. |
Date: 4/24/2003 8:03:00 PM From Authorid: 28190 I watched it, just out of pure curiousity, because I still love their music. And after seeing this, I actually see why this is such a hot topic. And I also saw, that Natalie Baines' heart. If people are too stubborn to forgive her, then I feel very sorry for them. I didnt agree with what she said at that concert, but man, how many of us have said something that they didnt think about first? It's a human flaw that everyone at one point or another has done. Seeing how sincere she was on the show, made my heart ache that they are going through so much with this. And I really think people's emotions got too involved with this, and a lot of over-reacting took place. Hopefully though, one day they will be forgiven for it. Maybe not, but my heart goes out to them. *hugs* |

I'm a huge fan of the Dixie Chicks And no matter if anyone forgives them or not it doesn't matter. I don't think they should take it back they was speaking thier minds and they have that right if I had thier money I would have probably said the same thing.Me,on this war I neither agree or disagree with it.But,ya'know if it was a rap or rock band and they were the ones to say it nothing would have ever been done about it. |
Date: 4/25/2003 1:50:00 AM From Authorid: 177 Dang! I missed the interview. I don't much care what she said, I just have a crush on Natalie, and wanted to see her on TV. DAng! |

Date: 4/25/2003 6:46:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 15157 Nakoma...you are right it was their decision to make that statement...but I doubt if they knew that it was going to wreck their career. This senario reminds me of The Beatles thing...but they were not as big as the Beatles and never will be now. She did show remose during the interview so I believe she was sorry for the statement even though she didn`t say so. |
