Mattress Tags Rip 'Em Off And... Go To Jail?...LiL Blonde Chick

Have you ever wondered why that "do not remove under penalty of law" tag is on mattresses & pillows? Admit it, you have. Who hasn't? Well, thanks to David Feldman, author of "Why Do Clocks Run Clockwise and other Imponderables", we now know the answer. I warn you if you read on the only mystery in your life may be solved, so beware.

So just why is that tag on there? It's there to protect you! It tells you exactly what's inside your mattress or pillow. It also lets you know if the manufacter is registered with all the approprite government agencies and stuff. And if you look closely at those tags you'll notice that it says "do not remove under penalty of law EXCEPT by consumer."
