Long, long time ago, I was a freshman in college. Had a speech teacher who insisted that I try out for the summer play. I was picked for the lead female role. Practically all of the others who were picked were members of the college acting club. In the play, I the mother - in a serious scene had to talk to him while his back was to the audience .... AND, he would make funny faces, tongue sticking out! Hard not to laugh and I was the only one who could see him. He was in the acting club and I really felt they were all trying to trash my performance. Maybe did, but, the experience did help me and I always drove people nuts by ignoring their actions. Would always laugh with him after we were off stage. RAT |
