Tears fall suddenly as she’s sitting quietly. Here she goes again, staying up ‘til 2AM. Staring at the dark ceiling.
She doesn’t know what’s real, can’t distinguish what she feels. She’s caught, wallowing in her thoughts, unsure of all around her
She sounds so hopeless in the tone of her words. Lost in her mind, seeming absurd.
She doesn’t know it’s just with herself, that it’s the depression and nothing else They try to help, but to no avail. Everything they try seems to fail.
Nobody knows just what to do or how to deal with what she’s going through. If only they could save her from herself, instead of only repeating themselves.
Thank you all for reading this. My mother suffers from depression/psychosis(mental illness) so that was the catalyst for this poem. It gets really hard sometimes and you just don’t know what to do. We’re all handling it the best we can, but only time will heal. *^*^Mayuka-<3
