Hey, there's a policeman in my back garden! ~*Sam Spade*~

It's been an eventful evening here. We often hear the sirens of the emergency services what with our house being on a main road but tonight they were unusually close.

My husband and I were in the living room and he felt a chill so got up to close the window. Right in front of the window appeared a policeman! Obviously he'd been running and he asked my husband if someone had been in our garden. He said no as the policeman was the only person we'd seen.

Hubby told me to lock the back door while he went upstairs to look out the window. There were a couple of police cars and a police van. There was activity in the back gardens of our neighbour's and when I looked out front, there were a lot of onlookers. Out back, it looked like the police had arrested a man. What he'd done, I've no idea but he was led into the police van out front. I'm so incredibly nosy, I want to know what he'd done!

My youngest son said that he probably tried to steal his friend's football My husband said he doubted so many police officers would be chasing a guy stealing a child's football! LOL.
