I think I was a German during WWII, but not a fighter; for some reason, I remember living in the country, and dying there. That is a vague, general remembrance, but a much more detailed one is of me being a child in the 1950's in America. I believe I died as a child no older than 12 or 13. I specifically remember being a little kid and lying in bed, listening to the opening music and announcement to "The Honeymooners," as my parents stayed up to watch it when it was on. I know this is not confused with my childhood now, because my parents now hate Jackie Gleason, so they would not watch reruns of the show after I went to bed. ~GypsyHawk~ BTW, how can one verify these experiences? I did have a past life regression a few years ago, quite fascinating. I was a young "nanny" to a well known Pharoah's children in Egypt (that would explain my love for children), and I was a young girl, in Ireland who could talk with nature, many people did not understand that so I was shunned away. Penny I believe that alot of Reincarnations could be the result of a violent end in our former life that it would cause our life to end so abrupt that we take some of the visions/rememberances with us to our present life. |

I don't know if I believe in reincarnation or not. I would have to read up on NDEs, documentation of those who make such claims, and things of that nature a bit more before making any informative comment. But I was reading on buddhism.net their theories of karma and rebirth, and I'm pretty sure that I do not agree with the concept that mentally/physically disabled people or criminals are paying for something they've done in another life. What's the point? They don't remember what it is they did that they are being punished for. How is it punishment when you don't even have a recollection of the crime? Anyhow, if reincarnation and karma truly exists, I must have been a real booger in my former lives/life;-)  |

I wish I could remember my past life so well. All I have is the feeling that I lived in Italy, (probably Greece) and the feeling of living high up off the ground. I can get the feel of living a fine life, with many nice works of art and the feel of being next to a large open window. And ever since I was born I've been scared of open windows. They just make me feel uneasy like something bad will happen because the window is open. But I also love them at the same time it's hard to explain. I've also loved hieghts, they just feel right. I've always had a draw to art as well, especially Greek art.  |

I think there may be something to reincarnation . For some reason the Pacific Ocean draws my attention . I have some wildly vivid memories of being on some island there . I was a missionary , I think and I was spreading christianity for Spain . Our leader was brutal and he would burn the natives in long slender wooden cages over fires . I was not happy about this nor was my partner . She suggested ( and I obliged ) we lead a revolt against our leader to stop the criminal acts being commited against the natives . sure will...I remember several of my past lives..but here a couple of them..i rememmber it being like the first part of the 1600s I lived in either England or Scotland I was a noblewomen and I was exicuted by beheading... in another one, I remember this one really well cause it was like in the early 70s I think it was in california somewhere..I was driving on a curved road and I was sidewiped somehow ( I think by a semi cause to this day im still nervous of Semis when they come near the side of the car)I went over the curve in the road...I also believe i may have been born in Topeka or have some connection with near there, I was told that as a smalls child that I kept talking about wanting to go to topeka. I find this interesting...in another one I lived in San francisco and it was like either 1881 or 1888 im not sure which one though, My father owned a busness and him and his partner were killed by a guy who worked for them..I ws killed by the same guy after he hit me from behind with a chair...those a just a couple of ones I remember...I picked these ones cause I had dreams about them to back up my memories... thanks for the post... luv ya,  |

I completely believe in reincarnation. To make a long story short, in on of my past lives (I'm an old soul. lol) I was a man, and I lived during a time, that anyone who displayed any kind of powers were concidered a witch and shunned. I had these abilities, and I was known for it, people came to me for healing and many other things. Even though I was able to do all these things, I didn't quiet understand them still and didn't fully believe in all of my abilities. I loved a woman very deeply, she couldn't handle the stress of how people looked at me and she ran off with another man. I trusted her completely and so here I am.. reincarnated as a woman and I am to learn to use all my abilities and learn the lessons I am to learn, if not I won't be reincarnated again. When I found out my past life, I just knew it was correct, it struck something deep in me and completely relates to how I am today, with love, trusting, my abilities and everything. I remember that one night during a dream a past life came back into memory..... I was on this ship going somewhere. It was a long time in the past, it was sunny (I mean there were no clouds or anything) then all this rain came down. It would stop and everyone around me was getting scared. Hello My Fav Kitten (kiss those Doxie puppies for me!!!)....my first idication I was reincarnated, was when I was VERY young 3-4-5 years old, and I kept dreaming my "big" sister, who was driving a car, with me in the passenger seat, we drive over a cliff....I had that dream dozens of times as a small child. BUT, I HAVE no big sister, I am the oldest, with one younger sister.And look how young I was? (I am still terrified of driving on bridges.-I know in a past life I died going over one). I also have an almost un-natural fear of swimming in black water, at night.....I think it has to do with the bridge dreams. Then, as a pre-teen, I had vivid & real dreams of living in a dirt town, in a room over a saloon, being the girlfriend of the town sheriff. I had so many vivid dreams, always with the same people, too....people I DID NOT know in real life. My strong reaction to seeing the "Ten Commandments" as a child, seeing the Egyptian movie sets, I was attracted to Anubis & the other Gods. I even knew how to play "Hounds & Jackals" (it's like chess in a way).....final certainty I am an old spirit, I remember being a Lady-in-the-Court, a cousin to one of Henry the Eighth's ill-used wives, and later a confident of Henry's daughter, Queen Elizabeth. O.k....you might think I have a vivid imagination, (I actually do)...but, I believe this too.  |

I have to admit I'm very skeptical about reincarnation, but that doesn't mean I don't believe it's possible. It's something I've often wondered about, because sometimes I have this feeling I would be so much more comfortable in the 40's or 50's. I'm 19, but I prefer to listen to music from the 50's (I'm in love with Elvis! :-) ), I'm in college, but what I would really like to do is get married and be a stay-at-home mom, I love to cook. So there are times I wonder if I could have been reincarnated, sort of an alternate heaven. :-)  |
