Trust
I'll tell you something my friend-
Something that took me awhile to find.
You can't just go around putting your trust
Into everything, 'cause not everyone's kind.
Trust is a preicous thing,
And believe you me that's nothing you should waste.
Because someone's always waiting to backstab,
And that in itself is a bitter taste.
To know that you cared for someone,
And that they didn't care enough for you in return,
Leaves you with a hold inside
That usually tends to burn.
I've learned the hard way,
And if you remeber one thing that I say:
There are few people you can put your trust into,
