The End

You killed her that fatefull day,

When you sold her innocence,

For a linesman's weekly pay.

What's that you say?

You didn't know it would end this way?

In the cold dark earth, she must now lay,

Poor sweet Peace-Love-Devine, justice? Nay!

Not for the likes of her. Okay?

Poor young victim, poor little child.

Not understood, not really wild.

She needed love, Instead she was defiled.

Why were her friends on his side filed?

That's right! Easier to believe his lies.

Blind your ears to her cries.

Was her death really a surprise?

Look! A coffin in just her size!

Date: 4/22/2003 6:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 18506    hi sweetie, that WAS awesome...I mean I JUST LOVE the way it is written (so well!) you know this can apply to so many 'broken homes'...it truly is sad that so many of us can relate because we have lost. but pain does equal the most beautiful (but sad) poetry....
Date: 4/22/2003 6:44:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 28946    That is very true, Skya. I am not very good at writing but sure appreciate my friends compliments anyways. I wish that people would treat each other with kindness and not hurt the other so bad that death would look better than having to live with their abuse. But then, some like to deliberately hurt others for just the thrill. Thank you Sweetie for being one of my friends and commenting here. God Bless.
