My ghost hate my cats!

I moved in a place my parents owned around christmas. I have had 2 sister live in this same place in the past and they have always joked around about the ghost. I really thought they were full of it because I had stayed here many of times be for and never heard and seen nothing. Well I stayed here about a month before I brought my cats here. Well the night I brought them here they ran to the bathroom first thing and they was back there a total of I say 30 sec and I heard a big bang. I thought they knocked something over. I started to walk back and they come running out like a lighten bolt. Well when I got back there I seen the screen on the light had feel to the floor. Not thinking much just thought that it worked it way out. Well the next day I had my dad come fix it. That very night when the cats were back there it hit the floor again. Well I fixed it this time and no sooner then I fixed it and the cats went back there again it feel again. I just left it down and dad put a new light up now that can't fall. But since then crazy thing are happening. I don't let my cats out side and would never leave the door open to let them have the chance to get out. Well on 5 different days in the past 2 months I've came home from work and my front door wide open and my cats on the porch. I never unlock my front door cause I come through the back door I don't even have the key to the front door. The past 2 times that I found the door open I had checked the door b-4 I left. I use to leave food and water down for the cats 24/7 since I have self feeders well if I leave food down and leave the house for a few min when I come back food and the water is all over the floor. my cats are very lazy and don't play but now since they have been here I find them chasing around the house sometimes and it most of the time around when there cat food and water has been messed with or the door open. So now my cats can only eat when Im home. So Im starting to think the ghost here don't like my cats. Has any one heard of such thing and does ant one know how to make the ghost happy without making my cats leave.
