This is where the life of Christalynn began. She was shuttled through foster home after foster homes for the first year and half of her life. Looking for a mother but never finding one, until the spring of 1977. A couple with an 8 year old son was looking to extend their family. The mother wanted a little girl with blond hair and blue eyes. They chose 1 1/2 year old Christalynn. The little girl was loved greatly by the family. She blossomed and grew to be a beautiful little girl that loved the outdoors. If her mother couldn't find her, she only had to look up. Christalynn would be up a tree or on the swingset in the yard. Her older brother was her idol. She aggravated him by hanging around him all the time but she didn't care. They would run around the pond on the property or jump out of the hayloft of the neighbors barn. Life was full of fun and adventure living in southern Illinois. She made many friends in school and her parents would transport her to town or bring her friends out to see her in the country.
