I am still interviewing Mr. James. But there is a long pause . Since Miss. Scarlet name has came up.

" Oh i see Sir. You dont have to go any further Mr. James."

" What do you mean?"

" Well what i mean is that you dont have to go further about Miss. Scarlet and your relation with her."

" What you saying I had an affair with my my widowed Wifes friend?"

" No sir, I didn't mean it like that. But tell me how she knew about the necklace?"

" Well it was almost my wife's Fifty birthday and I wanted to buy her something nice. So i called up Miss. Scarlet, whos been her friend ever since they were childern."

" So Mrs. Scarlet, helped you pick it out for you wife?"

" Yes she did. I was very thankful. At the time I didnt know my wife was going to die. If i know i wouldnt of bought it for her."

" Mr. James tell me real quick how your wife died. This could lead clues to who stole the necklace."

" Well i was out of town one weekened and i came back to find my wife laying on the floor dead. Her neck was all red and you can tell that some one strangeled her."

" I called the police right away. The searched the house nothing was missing. Just my wifes sole. " Pauses and lets out a cry.

" Sir its okay. You dont have to tell any more."

" No Dective i need to tell more because i think it was miss Scarlet."

" Why do you supsect it was her?"

" Because ever since i bought my wife the necklace and gave it to her she was always asking to wear it. So thats why we put in the safe . Just to be safe that she wouldnt try to wear and take it home"

" Is that all?"

" No it isnt. On the day of the will readind of my wife, Miss. Scarlet came and was all happy while the rest of us were sad."

" Well maybe she was happy because your wife had moved on to a better place?"

" No it wasnt. Listen to me. As the will reader was reading it she kept asking them to move on to the necklace. But it waited to the very end since thats the last thing my wife put into her will"

" Okay tell me more."

" As he go to the part about the necklace and he read that the necklace was to stay with me until i decided when to give it away or when i died. Miss Scarlet went into a rage. " How could she do that to me. Her best friend. I deserved that necklace and not her awful husband," I was shocked that she would say such thing. When we helped her out everytime she was in need."

" Ah so you think she was one of the robbers?"

" No i think she plotted for them to get stolen and hired someone to do the dirty work for her."

" Did anyone in the house like her"

" Yes one person did and that was Smoken Joe. My grandson."

" Did he know the combenation to the safe?"

" No he didnt, why did you think he broken into because he didnt he was with me. Any the ways the safe was broken into with a crow bar and not the number."

" OH, I see. And yes I suspected him because you have to suspect everyone in this case even you."

" Even me thats crazie. Why would i want my own necklace to be stolen"

" Sir you just never know. I am going to interview your grandson and butler tomorrow at yur house. Is that okay"

" Yes it's okay. That way yo can examine the whole house"

" What time shall I be over?"

" Around 10 o`clock. Thats when my grandson will be there and my butler wont be as busy."

" Okay thank you Mr. James"

As he left i wondered why i had gotten a case like this. Was this case going to be a murder mystery or just a plain mystery of who done it. I dont know yet I'll have to wait tomorrow so i can intrewview the grandson and butler
