The foot rest ghost

Here in the small town of Eagle Lake, Florida nothing ever happens weird. If you ask anyone about ghosts, they say that it's all fake, but after living in my house you would think differently. About 20 years ago when we first moved in, my mother would be lying in bed at night and she would feel somethat that felt like someone sitting on the bed right beside her feet. She said she could also feel a heart beat. It has happened during times when my father was and wasn't home, and while we haven't had pets. When my mother first told me I was a bit sceptical, but what happened the other day made me believe her. My brothers girlfriend Linda was sleeping in my parents bed while they were away. She had no idea that the foot rest ghost had been messing with my mom for years. After laying down Linda came into my room and asked me if I had came back there and sat on the bed....it was very creepy.

It makes me not want to sleep with my mom while my dad's away.
