sometimes the living dies, but keeps on breathing
a paralized heart, with the soul still teasing
as old wounds keep bleeding

you hold a funeral for every hour of life that goes by
age has taught you nothing but regrets, you choke it all down
with an artifical respect

bitterness is writen all over your eyes
its a clear give away, when you dont tend to
the thorns, in your vines

your hurt, your torn, you wish that love was was never born
but it took its first breath in your long ago smiles
and you held on tight to its charms, a lovers warm arms
that some where along the way, gave way, to let you fall
in a misery of tears, that still keeps its sting
