Don't have a clue where you can find the password, unless you try Options, and change your password. Otherwise, just re-do it (the whole thing) and get a new account. |

bearshare is much better than kazaa...kazaa sometimes has more stuff, but much more spyware and really mucks up how the computer operates. i'm sure there's an email to the admin or ask a question or retrieve password..go to the main kazaa site and look for a link..probably when you try to log on their should be something saying 'forget your password?'..there's gotta be cause i'm sure it happens all the time that people forget their password. |

Knowing your password isn't going to save your music...you'll have to back it up and the load it onto your new computer |

willow did you have a cd rw drive? if so, what i did was write the ones to disk and transfer rather than redownload...i just got a new pc too...and actually --it's a better one and so much faster, i haven't even reloaded the music..i just redownloaded it 10 times as fast. but yes, those files get downloaded to your pc..they don't really 'sit' out on kazaa once you get them. |

There are places online where you can get free storage space. You might want to look into something like that. You could transfer them all there. It's like having a second hd. I've had to reformat a few times and since I have over 1,000 mp3s, I always back mine up with my cd burner. Good luck! |
