The day we met
I was as nervous as can be
I couldn't believe you'd drive the 3 1/2 hours
Just to see little ol' me...
When you showed up at my door
Your smile set me at ease
You were everything I had hoped for
BUT; that first kiss brought me to my knees...
When you held me close
And kissed my lips
All the nervousness was gone
And all my fears had been whipped...
So now we have met face to face
The connection was still there
I'am just writing this poem
To show you that I care...
During all our conversations
Be it on the phone or internet
We made a powerful connection
