**Do you think I could send a watch to the U.S. Army?**

I have this friend in the U.S.Army right now in Kuwait fighting in the war. I wanted to send him a Tom & Jerry watch, because he likes Tom & Jerry. Do you think the post office would allow a watch to be sent right now at this time? I mean, it does tick and they might think it's something else.

What do you think? Do you think it's a good idea or not? Thanks!

Date: 4/8/2003 6:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 37101    That's a really good question. I don't think it should be much of a problem. I don't honestly know how you'd send a package to someone in Kuwait or anything, but I saw on CNN the other day that MANY Marines got LARGE care packages full of photos, cookies, and other things from home. I hope you can send it! -

Date: 4/8/2003 7:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    I heard yesterday morning from Sgt. Shane Wents (he calls my local radio station to give us the FYI on the war) that packages are slowing down the mail and they ask you not to send any unless its things that are requested by the troops. Like extra tylonel or something like that. Good Luck!
