Somebody's Watching You ¤Frankenstein¤

Have you ever considered that every word you ever write here is likely to be read by those who aren't members of this site? Well, it's true. You are probably being watched. That could account for why the number of times our posts are read usually far exceed the number of replies that we get. You must remember that this site can be accessed from any computer that's online anywhere in the world. Are you feeling paranoid yet? Do you feel like you're being stalked? You might have people who love your writing but you don't know about it because they aren't members here and can't reply. On the other hand, there may be those who would love to punch your lights out. LOL! I certainly do hope that the latter isn't the case. I'm sure that there will be those who will read this post and I'll never know who they are or what they thought of it. Has any of this ever really occurred to you? Does it bother you in any way? I don't think it should. If it helps any, think of yourself as a performer on a stage. You know that a lot of people out there in the dark are watching every move you make and listening to all that you say but you'll never see most of their faces. That's sort of like the situation we're in here. I don't think it should make any of us feel uncomfortable at all in any way.

By the way, now that there is a five dollar fee to get a membership, do you think that we're getting fewer members than we used to? I don't know for sure but it seems to me that the new members are fewer and farther between than they used to be. For some reason, that's interesting to me. I like the idea of the fee. Maybe it will help to discourage anyone from getting multiple accounts like some have done in the past. Do you have any thoughts on all of this?
