Melanie didn't feel like going down stairs to answer the door, so she just yelled, "Come in! I'm upstairs so come on up!" She heard the door open and close. She also heard slow footsteps. She expected it to be Danielle. Although they weren't the closest, they still needed eachother right now. The footsteops reached the top of the stairs and Melanie turned. She saw a figure with dark clothes on. She thought for sure it was a guy. "Ronald?" she asked, Why didn't you call first? Why don't you take off your coat?" The firgure moved towards her and slowly took off its coat. Beneath its coat was a big bulky black sweater, and a black ski mask covering the face. Immediately she realized it WASN'T Ronald. "Wh-Wh-Who are you?" She asked shakily, "Wh-wh-what do you want?" The figure grabbed a lap off a table, making the room dark, except the TV which was still on quietly. Melanie jumped up and grabbed a large picture frame which held a large picture of all the girls; Jamie, Macey, Angie, Janice, Danielle, and herself. She was prepared to defend herself if necessary. The figure chuckled softly, obviously thinking it was humerous that Melanie was even going to try to protect herself. While the figure was walking towards her, Melanie glanced at the TV. There was a picture of the murderer. Melanie could fainly hear the reporter saying he had been caught trying to get in to Canada at the other end of the country. Local authorities there had taken him into custody. The figure looked at the TV once it saw Melanie starring at it the screen. It then looked at Melanie. "Well then who are you?" Mel asked, stepping slowly towards the figure. She put a hand towards its head, and grabbed the ski mask. She slowly began to pull it up, to expose the figure's face.
