18 is still fairly young. I understand what your going through. I didn't have a chance to have "fun". I got married right out of highschool and started "making babies". I've got two so as you can tell work is a very important thing when your a single mother of two. There's a big diffrence between working a mundane job. Something you don't like would most likely not be fun. LOL. But if you like singing, you got talent, and have the drive and motivation to pursue it. GO FOR IT!!!! I have a motto. Live life to it's fullest. I mean that to every extent that you can stretch it. I don't want to spend my life working and not getting anywhere especially if I'm unhappy with it. So I always tell me people. Do what you love. Even if it takes some trial runs. GO FOR IT> that's all the advice I can give it. But....if you have a family and responsibilties. Step up to the plate and face those responsibilites. |

If that is what you want, then go for it. As long as you don't plan to bring innocent children into that sort of irresponsible life style and you can support yourself, then it's your right to live the way you want to live. |

you need a healthy level of both.. a job teaches you responsability... and it pays yoru way through life...you need to work to live... and to have a life you need to work... you can't expect to get a free ride though life... and you can't depend on the arts to pay your way either(there are no gurentees with arts) |

Psy Guy, I can name plenty of people I know tha want to be singers, or play in bands. Bars and nightclubs are full of them. The thing is, they all work regular jobs during the day, because the bars and nightclubs don't pay enough to make a living at it. |
