Anyone else like these? -- Mike

Well, I thought I'd never drink alcohol, but I guess I was wrong. I turned 21 in January so I took advantage of the benifits of my age. I'm not a drunk mind you, but I probably will drink every once in a while (I don't wanna be a drunk, I've seen what it does to people. :( ). My first drink was a Margarita, about a month ago. I thought it was pretty good. Tonight, however, I had two Mike's Hard Lemonades (not made by me, lol), which I thought were great. Anyone else like them? I think I might try Hard Cola too. What do you think of that? Also, what do you personally recommend trying?

I'm not sure if for you, trying different drinks is a good idea cause like you said you don't want to become a drunk.

Date: 3/24/2003 8:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 36766    I didn't care to much for that stuff, don't like Smirnoff Ice either...when I go out, I drink the more potent stuff...but at home, I'll just have either Zima or Skyy Blue
Date: 3/24/2003 8:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    i used to drink a good whiskey and coke... but as i grew older i grew more and more allergic to the alcohol.. mike hard lemon aid makes me go into extreme chills and shakes.. it's not a pretty sight
Date: 3/24/2003 8:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 39258    the hard colas or "hard" anything by jack daniels are really good. Jack Daniels itself is good. it goes down smooth, if you take a shot. i used to like vodka until it made me sick, so now i can't stand it. Sidecars are super good. If you are still getting used to alcohol, you'd like shmirnoff ice. it tastes like sprite. I drink corrona or other beer. I'm over the 'girly' drinks. i'm only 20.. 4 more months until i can do it legally. i'm excited.
Date: 3/24/2003 9:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 53961    Well, Mike, let me tell you. I had a son and his name was Mike too. I lost him six years ago this May. He would have been 30 this past Wednesday, March 19. His blood alcohol level was over the limit. He sideswiped two trees and was thrown over an airport fence and killed instantly. He was found four hours later by a morning walker. Now, I use to drink. I don't want to sound holier than thou. Matter of fact, I have what I call a "$2,000 Margarita knee". I had too many one night and fell down while walking down to the beach in San Clemente many years ago. I quit 20 years ago, but I can still tell you what it taste like. My advise to you and anyone else who cares to hear it, DON'T. It's not worth it. To you or your family. Seeing your child laying on a slab in a funeral home is no pretty sight.
