I think the desert would be worse not only because of the heat, but also because it is so much more vast and isolated than any of our forests. You have absolutely no chance of being found in the desert.  |

I myself think lost in the forest would be worse! In the desert it cools up considerably at night as well as the fact that you in the open if people fly by they can rescue you because you can be seen! In the forest it is always wet, damp and muggy with a high humidity and you are covered by foliage so it is harder to be rescued!  |

Depends on the forest. Here in Southern California our alpine forests in the mountains are dry and hot in the day, and can have below freezing night temperatures even in the middle of the summer. I suppose you mean forests back east or in the south.  |

Desert is the worst!!!...forest is better becuase i'd be sheltered from the harsh sunlight be able to build protection from the elements and there would be food around  |

umm...i think being lost in a desert would be worst, because atleast in the forest you could drink out of a stream or something but in the desert you would die of thirst.  |
