**At what age should you have your career together?**

I was wondering at what age do you think a person should have there whole life together? When is it time for a person to move out of the house and start there career?

It kind of scares me, because I am 24 years old right now and I don't have my career together, still in college and I feel that at my age, I should already be well into my career.

What do you think is a good age for a person to actually start there life?

Date: 3/24/2003 3:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 49354    I don't really think there's a set age. I know a lot of people who are going to school, but have to take semesters off to work to pay tuition so obviously, they will get a later start.
Date: 3/24/2003 4:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 27270    Well, JG, don't feel bad, I'm 26 and don't have a single semester under my belt. I keep saying I want to go, but I have a 7 yr. old and it just doesn't leave much time or energy at the end of the day.....*sigh*...you are working on it, keep at it. It'll be over before you know it

The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't. "~Baz Lurhman
Date: 3/24/2003 4:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    there is no age where you should have a career or anything.. first off you have to figure out what you want ot do with your life if yoru finacially able to be on your own,
Date: 3/24/2003 6:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 11097    I have been thinking about this for a while now...I recently started college and never realized how fast time goes by... I am 18, pushing 19 in August and I am not ready to even pick a specific major to focus on. Its really tough, and I am in the process of thinking about getting my own place with my boyfriend in the near future....but I need a good paying job and most of my education finished by then.... I know how you are feeling. I think that you never stop learning and growing as a person... so having your life "together" depends on what you want out of life. Focus on the important things and let life flow, what is meant to be will come, dont pass up oppurtunities and do the best with what is given to you *hugs* xox Che-
