I don't have lupus but one of my best friends did. She struggled daily and has had some difficulties due to it. Hang in there, stay strong. I'm hoping they find a cure in the future.  |

Actually, we lost track a few years ago. I heard that she had tragically lost her baby in a drowning and it crushed my heart. I know she's been through enough with her disease. I don't know how her health is doing but I remember her complaining that her lupus was on the move again, another new organ. I'll keep you in my thoughts along with her. Sweet people like the both of you, don't deserve a nasty disease. God bless. |

hey i was diagnosed with lupus a few months ago but ive had it since i was fifteen. my doctor says its probably just a mild form of discoid lupus. i have the butterfly rash, but also i have other symptoms like fatigue and joint pain ecspecially when i'm cold. Lupus is a strange disease because it affects people in different ways. i used to have remissions in the summer which is odd because i never wore sunscreen which is unbelievably important if you have photosensitivity. well good luck to you!  |
