well you guys can still let it grow and if you don't want to let it grow you can cut it and then just donate it so it can be sold for money to make the wigs  thanks for reading!  |

I've always wanted to do this and frequently cut 6 inches of hair off at a time.....and decided about six months ago once I get all the perm out of my hair I'm growing it out more so than usual so I can donate  |

I will say my mom wanted me to cut alot of my hair off when my grams had her cancer so she could have a wig of my hair....my grams wouldn't hear of it though... |

My cousin is going to do this and I think it's a really good idea, when my hair gets long enough i'm going to do it too.thanks for posting this and raising awarness for locks of love :~).

my 12 yr old son grew his hair to his shoulder then went to our local hairdresser that does "Locks For Love" and donated his hair. I think it is a wonderful program!  |
